this is my first take on this black metal song... I just started learning to mix, so I did this for practice.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Hi!
Not bad for a beginner!
I think u could focus on the drum a bit, kick is a bit lost with the bass, I suggest u to make the attack of the kick more prominent ( eq.wise push 2k or 5k should help) or try limiter or a transient designer it could do the job.
Whole kit could be a bit more punchy
I'm listening from some cheep headphone so eq wise I cannot tell u much.

thanks for your feedback! Mixing drums is still a big sticking point for me, I haven't quite figured it out yet. I guess practice makes perfect in this regard
I will have another go at it and see if I can improve it, keeping your tips in mind.
