The pedal steel is a little to the right and an acoustic (I think) and one of the mandolins has a riff early on that catches the ear and my focus leans to the right. Maybe just swapping the panning of the mandolins would balance it out. Thanks for the thoughtful comments. Cheers RE: Eliza Jane - HB Mix - Yoshi Nishikawa - 21-04-2017 Hi Simon Good feeling Good balance I think that it is a very nice mix I also want to refer good job RE: Eliza Jane - HB Mix - HbGuitar - 11-06-2017 (21-04-2017, 12:32 PM)Yoshi Nishikawa Wrote: Hi Simon Hi Yoshi. Thanks for listening. I'm glad u enjoyed the mix. cheers, Simon RE: Eliza Jane - HB Mix - Mixinthecloud - 21-06-2017 Nice full and subtle mix. I did feel it may be a bit too restrained. I know James talked about the arrangement being too busy, but I'm not sure I agree. I think there is a place for everything in this mix and I would like to hear the mandolins a bit more. I think the excellent bed you created has space for them throughout the song. I feel they add some punctuation. However, this is very easy to listen too. Very very nicely done. Your fade at the end is good too. RE: Eliza Jane - HB Mix - L.Mix - 23-06-2017 For me this mix hit the spot. It has everything depth, clarity and easy to listen to. Good job. RE: Eliza Jane - HB Mix - HbGuitar - 24-07-2017 Hey L.Mix, thanks for listening and for your feedback cheers, Simon |
