Big Head Todd & The Monsters: 'Hey Delilah' - Stereo Sonic - 10-01-2017

Here's my mix

Overall this is a good mix! The guitars sound nice and beefy. The drums are strong and the vocal is well balanced. It does lack some polish though. I would add some high end to the stereo bus. Maybe a bump around 6kHz to 10kHz. Also, the bass seems a little lost. I would use a HP filter around 100hz, then blend in some upper midrange to let it cut a bit more. As I said before, the vocal is very well balanced but I think it needs to be a bit more forward in the mix. Nice job!

Thank you for the comments. Here's version 2.
I turned off some eq on the bass and raised the vocal and added some 8kHz in mastering. I also pulled down the room mic to make it more polished

Not bad. Really liked your vocals. Well polished. Guitars sounded good too. I do think the kick is a bit to broad and could be better defined. I also missed the keyboards. I think they could be better defined too. The Hammond could also use some attention. None of these things are major and your overall mix is very enjoyable.
