FunkyToTheBorn - Yoshi Nishikawa - 27-12-2016 It was very difficult, I had a hard time understanding it However, I feel very satisfied I am very happy I respect the wonderful artists Thank you! RE: FunkyToTheBorn - Mandubien - 29-12-2016 Hi Yoshi ! I overall like the vibe you put in this cool song. I noticed some things which are pretty disturbing: the two rhythm guitars are panned too hard left and right. As there is not a lot of instruments, the way you panned them create a huge hole between the center and the sides. I would recommend you to pan them slightly and use the reverb/delay to fill the hard left & right side. The bass is a bit too much loud, some db down will help it to sit right in the mix. Nice job ! RE: FunkyToTheBorn - Yoshi Nishikawa - 30-12-2016 Dear Mandubien Thanks for your advice I will study how to express guitar again I am considering the total balance by holding down the bass guitar a bit I will make a new mix, please advise again Thank you very much RE: FunkyToTheBorn - Tash - 30-12-2016 I like how your mix sounds. However, kinda agree with Mandubien. Both guitars were panned too much, when the vocals come in you have your center a bit more filled up but it's only momentary. Another thing that slightly bothers me, is the high frequencies on some parts of the guitar, I personally think that it's a bit too high and crunchy, but that's just my opinion. PS: I haven't mixed this song or heard the raw project itself. RE: FunkyToTheBorn - Yoshi Nishikawa - 30-12-2016 Dear Tash Thanks for the advice I will study the sounds of both guitars and panpot The tone of the guitar is also changing I will check the sound of the guitar track again I will make a new mix, please advise again Thank you for your precious advice |
