still flyin - carlosavff - 24-12-2016 this is my first mix in this website RE: still flyin - Shul - 25-12-2016 Hello Not bad at all but here is my observation *Kick is too loud.. it sounds louder than guitars.. *Bass needs less brightness and more low end.. to fill up that hole in the low end. Just those two things and you would have a better balance mix. RE: still flyin - matiasgodoy399 - 26-12-2016 Really good mix! There is a lack of low end. I don´t have problem with the bass´s high freq, it´s okay for me. I don´t hear kick too loud neither. What I hear is the screaming part out of time, see how you can arrange that. Also I think maybe vocals need a little more effects, from section to section, I mean to let the mix be more fluid, and not boring. But it is really a good mix, being your first! RE: still flyin - Roy - 26-12-2016 It feels ok. The bass doesn't bother me either, but, the kick should come back and be evened out and if that happened then I think the bass will then stick out too much. The vocals need more tweaking. There are some dropouts and the vocal levels need to be balanced. It's a good start and you have something to work off of. |
