Mixed and Mastered to the Max - picassographic - 17-12-2016 Hi folks. I'm a guitar player and a newbie at mixing. First hats off to the band as the song itself is so beautiful and i've enjoyed mixing every bit of it . I'm not a pro, just a bedroom rocker trying to get better everyday and hope to get some feedback from you friends. Thanks RE: Mixed and Mastered to the Max - LeadProductions - 24-01-2017 Hi picassographic At first your compression of mastering is much too hard, loudness is good, but not everything ;P you can feel it at 0:43 when drums and bass are starting to play alone, than the voice becomes louder that´s a result of a to deep set threshold and a to long set release time. RE: Mixed and Mastered to the Max - picassographic - 30-04-2017 I agree It sounds quite compressed overall on 2 bus and on some individual tracks especially bass .I had this idea "oh use compressor NO MATTER WHAT on 2-buss". Maybe I couldnt make the right settings on comp but sometimes It's just cleaner to use a fast limiter on 2-buss espeially on fast metal mixes. Or just leave it to mastering eng. Thanks for your time and criticizing, |
