Burning Bridges Mix - ciananm13 - 03-12-2016

Hey guys, this is my first try at this. I've actually never mixed vocals before, but I had fun with this. I tried to go for a highly energized sound with big vocals. Let me know anything that could use some work! (Disclaimer, I know I cut out the vox harmonies, I didn't really feel like they aided the lead vox and just took up space for the rest of the instruments)

The left guitar is a bit quieter than the right one. Cymbals and specially the HiHat are too loud imo. I feel like the delays and reverbs take up too much space, it's a bit messy. Lead vox needs less reverb & lead guitars less delay. Great mix overall !

Nice mix, the problem I see is that vocals seem to be muddy, maybe to much reverb? Try adding more predelay time so your ears detect the vocal sound and the reverb as different sounds, that way the vocals will stay more up front.
