Diesel 13-BB mix, first mix for a while! - beefyblue - 02-12-2016

I've not posted a mix on here for a while as it's been a busy few months, but I wanted to have a go at this one as I really enjoyed the song. Well recorded, and great banjo partCoolCool

Hope I've done it justice. Any comments are welcome as always!

Hello

Kick and Bass are fighting a lot for a place. Also the Bass is very low in some areas.

Overall your kick is making everything else sound or appear over compressed a bit because is very loud in comparison.
I would suggest a cut around the 300-600hz to clean up kick thump sound.

Balances for the most part are good and I like the tone in your guitars but a lil bit too wet for my taste.

Keep it up This is good work.

Little too much on the compression. But 80% in the right direction!
