colour me red - eclipseaudio - 21-11-2016

Hey ,
Hope you like my mix of this awesome song Wink

RE: colour me red - Roy - 21-11-2016

I like dropping the intro. The vocal riff might be a little loud and the intensity of the song drops a little after that.

I feel like there's a build up of mid and upper mid sounding instruments in the center of the mix that clouds things up. With the vocal tone, the snare, the mono drums, the upper end of the bass and the main electric guitar things get obscured. It's an overall mono mix, which is fine and could work for this song but more space needs to be given to each instrument for it to be more successful.

It's hard to judge the bass on earbuds but it might be loud. Or at least parts of it might be. There are times when some notes "hump out" bit. But someone listening on a better setup could judge that better than I.

Other than that it feels good.
