Ill Fate mix - pagus85 - 01-11-2016 How nice to get away and mix something else for a change... The overheads was a bit loud, but shouldn't be that much lower really. Snare I like low, but might need a db... Think it went ok RE: Ill Fate mix - pagus85 - 03-11-2016 Left as much as possible open and twangy, easy on compression for a bit more dynamic mix, focus is clearly guitars and vocals. 1 or 2 hpf/lpf used, rest is wide open (normal eqing done) what i was going for was a raw twangy BIG guitar sound, with clear high vocals and build around that. Didnt listen to original before mix. edit: listened in my car today, seems bass-heavy... but i'm not going to fiddle around... i am aware. |
