Dirty/Punk Mix - Busoni - 05-08-2016

Hey,

I wanted to keep this mix a little rough and random. I tried several effects, which I think work!

However, I'm not happy with the vocals. Many have pointed out in the forums, that the singer seems to have recorded them in multiple sessions. It messed with the compressor quite a bit, so I had to ride the fader several times. Anyway, mixing this was good and I learned about buildups.

Critique is always welcome!

Hello!
Good work, nice vocal.
But for my taste too loud overheads, first part of back vocals louder than the main. And maybe guitars not clear enough. Check itCool

RE: Dirty/Punk Mix - Shul - 18-08-2016

Hello here is my observations.

*bass excess on right side of the mix not sure if it's a ton or guitar.
*when singer goes "I feel craaaZYYYYYYYYYY" there is a ringing frequency that is throughout the whole song.
*your drums could benefit from samples especially kick.
*overall eq on the mix is verymuddy.. Youneed to highpass many things.. Tom's, guitars, vocals... Maybe even the bass to let the mix breath better.

Hope this helps.
