First attempt on Country - Mrvin - 30-07-2016

Hey guys!

Here is my first attempt on Country. Felt kind of confident mixing this song.

Well, the bass guitarist did some weird things with his bass and the correction of his timing was a necessity. But I'm not very satisfied with the overall result here.
The Overheads have some weird phase issues. Sounds like it has been thrown together like german books in 1933 ...

I tried to get the sound as warm and natural as possible, while maintaining an oldish touch. Experimented with the depth as well.

Now, let's hear it! Wink

Edit: Ok, didn't read the "About This Multitrack" ...

Edit 2: Updated version has a 1 db louder kickdrum, a 1 db quieter bass guitar, a wider paning, a 2 db louder Piano, less reverb on the vocal and a slightly different equalization in the mastering.
