Jessica Childress: 'Slow Down' Mix - kbl_guy - 20-07-2016 First mix posted, working on couple others, mixing with headphones for now so know its not perfect.. Lemme know RE: Jessica Childress: 'Slow Down' Mix - Marconi Blue - 21-07-2016 Bring the backing vocals up. Lead vocal is strong! The mix is balanced. If you could also bring the kick up, you can barely hear it, but it is type of song that benefits from weak kick, if you add it you would get more groove but less emotion. Nicely done! Good ears. RE: Jessica Childress: 'Slow Down' Mix - kbl_guy - 05-08-2016 Thank u for the input, really helps to get some more ears on stuff and at least know I'm in the ballpark and moving in the right direction.. I have a lot to learn and equipment to uograde, kinda at the point where I am maxing out what I can do with what I have, so going to be upgrading comp, daw, and interface soon to keep moving forward. Thanks! RE: Jessica Childress: 'Slow Down' Mix - PushLeversCollectCheck - 16-08-2016 The mix sounds pretty balanced, you could carve out some space in the bass for the piano to sit in between the guitar and i think it would smooth the lomids out. Lead vocals sit great! miss the BGVs a little but it is almost a fun tease between the lead parts nice and warm but a little round overall ive heard loudness is perceived by high end |
