<It Was My Fault For Waiting> ^^ - name036za1 - 06-07-2016 Thank you RE: <It Was My Fault For Waiting> ^^ - loweche6 - 06-07-2016 I feel like your mix is hitting your compressor too hard, try pulling all your faders down the same amount to where your compressor is taking of just about 1-2 dB. Also, play around with the attack and release. I think you can get a clearer usage of the compressor if you tune it to the groove. I think your kick is too hot, especially in the beginning. The snare could definitely come up too, i do think. Also it sounds a little low mid heavy in general. The lead vox could come up during the bridge, too. I know that sounds like I'm bashing your mix, but I'm not really. It just sounds like your ear got a little fatigued and so you had to compensate for things not sounding as loud to your ears. I bet if you pull your compression back a bit, your mix will open up a lot and the images will pop out a lot more. I do like your general levels, and your usage of delay and verb. Cheers! Draper |
