SouthOfTheWaterMix - Konek - 22-05-2016 Another good song! Special thanks to Thedon for the help in kick replacement RE: SouthOfTheWaterMix - thedon - 23-05-2016 Sounds nice ,I like the drums, Just the Electric guitar in the verse sounds a touch up front. Good Job RE: SouthOfTheWaterMix - Shul - 23-05-2016 Hey Konek *Balances seem good. I agree with don on the left and right electric guitar on the verse at the begining. *Kick needs some clean up. I would cut between 300hz-600hz with a wide Q just to make it less muddy. *Distortion guitars are thin sounding in my opinion. They don't sound harsh in my monitors but it could be that it translates bad in different systems. *Vocal is well treated, no complains here *Bass sounds clean too. overall this is pretty good. I believe if you would just give more mids to your electric guitars this would sound a lot better. I recomend a boost between the 300hz and 600hz.. and perhaps a cut around the 1khz-4khz area. Keep it up. RE: SouthOfTheWaterMix - Konek - 23-05-2016 Thank you, guys, for listening I agree! The day after mixing i find guitar in verse too evil and voice too compressed. Will try to fix it Hurrah! RE: SouthOfTheWaterMix - Konek - 24-05-2016 Something like this I tried to change the vocal compression and apply gated reverb on it. And guitar in verse just faded into the background. Kick was cleaned up as possible for my decision)) |
