I'm not familiar with the song but it sounds like a solid mix. I might give the lead guitar even a bit more volume. Nice one.

Its a good mix man.

Everything sounds smooth in my headphones.
Perhaps the only thing I'd change is the easing on the voice. Its quite bright. This could translate quite bad in different systems. Other than that this is very good.

Actually last thing i did was backing of the lead guitar.

v2 with a bit louder lead and a bit less high end on vocal.

This is very nice. IMHO I think it is a bit dry which I feel makes the vocal stand out without a good relationship to the ensemble behind it. I think that is more evident in your first mix. I would not call the voice too bright, just to dry.
