Travelling band - Quicksand (HV mix) - Highvoltage - 11-05-2016 Hi, i'm new here, had a little time to test myself on a mix. Don't hold yourself back. Cheers, Matt RE: Travelling band - Quicksand (HV mix) - thedon - 12-05-2016 Hi Mat, This is a pretty solid sounding mix I like it a lot. On my monitors I think the vocals could come up just a touch, but this is a personal preference thing. Well done RE: Travelling band - Quicksand (HV mix) - Highvoltage - 12-05-2016 (12-05-2016, 09:12 AM)thedon Wrote: Hi Mat, Yeah listening with fresh(er) ears i totally agree. Most likely needs an even more exaggerated automation for the chorus parts only. Also i think the vocals are a little thin. (or too much harshness at ~7k) To be honest i spent the least amount of time on them. My main goal was to experiment with subtle changes of perspective, width and dynamics for the chorus parts in contrast to the verses. Thanks for the reply |
