Burning Bridges mix - Jimdolorian - 30-04-2016

Hi,
I gave it a go.

Let me know what you think =)

Powerful. Crunchy. Phat. Good Balance. Love the low end. Guitars sound huge! Vocals could be a tad louder and you should add a little bit of reverb or delay because they sound very dry. Hihat could come down in the bridge to give the bass more spotlight. Solo is cool but the choir is too loud.

Thank you for your comment !

This is one of my first few mixes so i'm really happy you liked it.

I made another version trying to follow your advices.

This song is a real pleasure to mix btw =), that guitars are really to my taste (i'm guitarist).

Cool - one of the top ten mixes on this forum.

you should back up the limiter or compressor on the 2bus a bit because it is strangely ducking the volume of the whole mix at 1:27. That part should explode but it feels like something is clamping it down.

I wasnt satisfied of my first mix so i made a new one :p

Let me kow what you think =) !

The old one was better for my ears. The new version is missing the beefy low end Smile

I see :p, i'll go back and beef it up a bit, i never know what is too much or not enough and i think my headphones are sometimes tricking me.
