My take on Drag - Sobbeggi - 17-04-2016 Like many others here I feel this song could do well with some delay for space and glue. I decided to put some on the lead vocal, the acoustic guitar, and for the drums I tried to replicate the drum-soundscape of Squonk by Genesis, with a bit of a slap-back in the left speaker. I know I tend to be pretty generous on the higher frequencies when mixing, thus my mixes sometimes becoming a bit too "glassy", but here I did my best to tame those frequencies. You tell me what you think. RE: My take on Drag - Sobbeggi - 17-04-2016 Ok, this mastering was too bright. My ears keep bluffing me. Here is a revised version. |
