Promises & Lies (Classic Metal :D) - Shul - 26-03-2016 Great Song.. fun to mix! RE: Promises & Lies (Classic Metal :D) - thedon - 27-03-2016 Hey Shul, love your version ,Not an easy mix (for me anyway ) One I'm going to remix soon. Excellent job with taming the resonant frequencies on the the bass guitar and effects. The delay on the vocals sounds great not sure maybe the vocals could come up a touch maybe a db or 2 ? I like the upfront snare but sounds a touch disconnected from the rest of the drum kit and boxy and missing some top end tail splash and less thud for this genre of music but probably just my personal taste. Well Done RE: Promises & Lies (Classic Metal :D) - Shul - 28-03-2016 (27-03-2016, 09:05 AM)thedon Wrote: Hey Shul, Thanks for the Feedback Don. I appreciate it. Yeah I agree on the snare top end. Will work on it next time around.
