My take on "Upper Hand" - thetanks - 14-03-2016 Hey guys, im here with another mix. I ended up doing a very traditional mix. Let me know what you think. RE: My take on "Upper Hand" - Dangerous - 15-03-2016 Quite a nice softer sounding mix. Your balance is definitely better in the 2nd mix. Snare and cymbals are sitting much better. Maybe a bit bass heavy? not really sure, listening with headphones. Nice one. Dave. RE: My take on "Upper Hand" - ptalbot - 15-03-2016 Not bad thetanks! I tend to prefer the first mix's overall sound, which is brighter than the second. But I agree the balance is better on the second, and it smoother overall. In the first one the drums in particular tend to overshadow the rest IMHO. Perhaps a third is needed to get the best of both! |
