Hold On You (Mastered version) - Adamas59 - 03-03-2016 OK So I mixed and mastered this song on headphones. It feels to me like it sounds good but then again I might very well be biased. Please let me know what you think and if anyting weird is happening that I may not have noticed.. Cheers, A ! RE: Hold On You (Mastered version) - Obelix - 10-03-2016 All in all good sound, but too bright. What did you do to the delay on main vocal ? It sounds so interesting. Did you use samples on drums ? RE: Hold On You (Mastered version) - Adamas59 - 12-03-2016 Hey there, thank you ! There are actually quiet a few things going on delay wise : the vocal feeds a stereo delay (L: 8th note / R: Dotted 8th), then it feeds a stereo slap delay (100ms or so), and there are a few other sends to 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 notes across the songs. As for the drums, I replaced the kick and found a snare hit in the song that I liked and replaced all the snare hits with it. Thanks again ! |
