Hi everyone!
Here is my rendition of this song.
I think I went as far as I could with the material given and skills. Despite the obvious snare mic that is really bad, all other stems are quite good. It finally ended better than I previously expected.
I heard the winning mix from the contest and I must honnestly say that I can't quite get how he did that. The band sounds like a bit far in the distance but still with good energy.
My mix is more "in the face" but still I quite like it.
Don't hesitate to write a comment.
Mix in Cubase Pro 8.5 with plugins from Waves/Slate/etc. ...
