The mix sounds fairly well balanced...maybe a little less reverb to allow it to have some bite.

Yeah it's a good balance, but not sure it's the right sound for the song. I think this sound would be more suitable for black metal. The track is a "mid 2000's metal" style which is drier and more bass heavy.
