Hold On You - mixed by mick2015 - mick2015 - 22-11-2015

This recording is a great example of how a couple of guitars, bass, drums and a vocal can be more than ample to achieve a sonically full mix. Compared with the modern trend to record sometimes 10 versions of the same guitar/amp with various mic/DI combos, there was no fighting for headroom or space in the mix which allows each track to breathe so much more. The drums needed some work but that's been clearly documented here, overall this was refreshing to mix. Comments and feedback welcome!

Cheers,
Mick

In retrospect, I'm beginning to agree. Could take a smidge out of the low-mid area on the vox, I think. Thanks for listening, appreciate it.
