Here's my take on this song. I wanted to capture the energy that this super talented musician has so I tried to balance out the mix as much as possible. But, in the areas where he is tapping and slapping the notes, I really wanted to keep that energy there and not try to squelch the high end because in those sections, the lower energy drops out. So, I thought, why not leave those taps, slaps, that hammers in there in all their glory. Anyway, hope you all like my approach. I added some more reverse effects in there...you'll hear it when they come up.
