The Blues is a Lady (of course it is) - Cassandra - 13-09-2015

This is my mix of this great song. I think the hardest challenge was to make it sound like a unit. I think I did it in the end, or maybe I just been to long at the mixing board. :-)

Hi! I like what you did with the voice! That delay/reverb it's great and suits very good to the song. I have only 3 things to remark in my opinion.

1- Panning the electrics and acoustics opposite sides makes the mix sound unbalanced, for me at least.
2- The snare sounds too bright for me, like without enough low power (i think besides the bass there's no other low frequency instrument, and that's a nice opportunity to the snare =D ).
3- And the soloing guitars perhaps give less volume keeping that fuzzy tone (which is cool!), or maybe less fuzzy at the actual volume.

Of course this is MY opinion, I'm not judging , just reviewing, you've had hard work there!

Cheers!
