Rise Up Singing - Wal - 04-09-2015 My attempt at mixing this song. Feedback always appreciated. cheers Wal RE: Rise Up Singing - thedon - 04-09-2015 Nice sounding well balanced mix ,probably a taste thing touch more bottom end punch on the kick to help the bass would sound great ! Really good job ! RE: Rise Up Singing - Wal - 06-09-2015 Thanks again for the commentary Don. Appreciate your perspective mate providing food for thought. cheers Wal RE: Rise Up Singing - Obelix - 06-09-2015 I would agree with Don that this mix sounds nice. But i would say that it is too narrow for my taste. And vocal sounds a bit distant. A little more highs on main vocal and it would sound great. Keep up the good work ! RE: Rise Up Singing - mange - 15-09-2015 Snare is good but too loud. I rarely like lead doubles and this time werent an exception. Solo guitar seem a little distant. Apart from that... really good. I guess you have upped revisions of the mix. Please leave the old ones up. RE: Rise Up Singing - Wal - 15-09-2015 Hi Mange many thanks for taking the time to provide your opinions. Always appreciated. I didn't update the mix this is the only one I have uploaded. 3rd simply refers to my records. Thanks again. Cheers Wal RE: Rise Up Singing - Olli H - 16-09-2015 I like it. Maybe the guitar is difficult to locate in space. Here and there the vox feels a bit as a duet. All in all, great mix to my ears. |
