Man About A Dog - 'Maggie May' - mattbrat1 - 30-08-2015

Hi All. Hope I'm not too late to the party. As the new guy, I decided to just grab the multitracks and mix without any preconceived ideas by what others had already done. As a result, I seemed to have gone in some different directions but love hearing the decisions others made with this song. Any feedback is most welcome!

Great job, Matt.

I like it.
You have nice big space in your mix. It might feel even bigger if you reduced some of the space from vox. The closer element could enhance nicely the size of the room. Also when the solo starts guitar could come a bit closer. By bringing those main things little closer the over all sound could have a clearer focus point.

Yep, listening with fresh ears now I agree some contrast with the wet/dry would be a good thing. Thanks, Olli.
