Hold On You - my first crack at it - DaveNJ - 27-08-2015 This was tough with the sparse arrangement, so I played around with the acoustic and electric rhythm guitars to make them a little bigger, but really just to fill things in a bit. The snare is pretty crack-y and bright, but I like it... RE: Hold On You - my first crack at it - DaveNJ - 27-08-2015 Took a second try today with fresh ears - I realized the acoustic guitar was lost and the slide was too loud in the second verse... I like it a little better now... RE: Hold On You - my first crack at it - Cudjoe - 28-08-2015 Hi DaveNJ apart from the uneven snare which everyone knows it's problematic not bad at all, well done. RE: Hold On You - my first crack at it - DaveNJ - 28-08-2015 Thanks, Cudjoe! RE: Hold On You - my first crack at it - Nos - 03-09-2015 Cool . I like the subtle wide delay or pre delayed reverb on the vocal. creates a real illusion of room/venue. |
