Thank you RE: Dino on the Loose-Queens Light - sysrq - 06-02-2015 I like how the kick drum and bass blends together but I think they are overlapping a bit too much in range from 40-80 Hz, so it can lead to intermodulation distortions cause speakers can't reproduce two similar frequencies very well at the low end due to cone mass. And I think snare drum sounds a bit too loud for jazz but it sound more exciting for sure. Overall tonal quality of all instruments are good. When there is too much separation in terms of spectral placement then it doesn't sound good any more and in this track it's just right. Thanks for the Feedback I might have another try of this one soon ! RE: Dino on the Loose-Queens Light - Mixinthecloud - 06-03-2016 This is nice but there is one thing I'm not getting and that is the splash of the Rhodes in the center when it's comping. I think it should lay right with the snare for a tonal punch. Everything else is pretty much right on. Cheers RE: Dino on the Loose-Queens Light - thedon - 17-02-2017 Hi, Thinking of doing a complete remix of this Awesome tune. Thought I would play around with version 1 trying out Andrew Scepps idea of parallel compression by running the mix through an 1176 compressor with a fast attack and release and mixing with the original. Also run the mix through a Waves NLS summing bus ,SSL bus compressor and Puigtech for some colour. Cheers RE: Dino on the Loose-Queens Light - KMuzic - 14-06-2018 Hi Don I enjoyed all your mix's and love the subtle smoothness of this last one everything sounds really glued together nice. A pleasure to listen to. Ill have to try the Andrew Schepps Technique you mentioned. Awsome Mix!!
