I'm 47 yrs old and live in PEI Canada. I've been doing the "home recording" thing since I was in my teens. Back then I was overdubbing with a dual cassette deck, later moving up to 4-track recorders, etc. Right now this is a hobby, although I have 4 albums to my credit that I have recorded/mixed/produced. My goal is to do this full time, working towards that I am learning all I can, and I'm super excited to find this incredible resource of material to practice my craft! I don't have a project keeping me busy these days so I'm absorbing everything I can and this is a great way to improve my skills. I would very much appreciate any feedback anyone wants to give me on my mixes - good or bad. I could really use the input. So far I've only a few, but I've listened to a lot. I may not feel qualified to give any critique but if I can help someone else by passing on anything I've learned I'll be happy to do so! |
