I've been making music for several years but now I'm just focusing on mixing. I've typically fallen into the jack of all trades, master of none category. For the last band I was in I wrote the songs, sang, played guitar, recorded, and mixed. It was too much. Normally I'd just be the guitar player with a spaceship pedalboard trying to create a sonic landscape, lol. I do take a good deal of that mindset into mixing. Semi-complicated signal flow has been my cup of tea for ages and someday I might even get good at it :)
I'm here because I'm serious about getting better and learning from everyone is what I'd like to do. |
